Let’s All Enjoy the World of Nihon Buyo
Try / Touch / Enjoy – An Introduction to Dance
This event offers lectures and experience using Japanese musical instruments such as shamisen, taiko and koto, as well as trying out stage makeup, costumes and props for Japanese dance, and experiencing traditional lion dances, giving those with little contact with such traditional arts the opportunity to interact with and learn about Japanese traditions.
