Approaching Tokyo Tradition

Under the theme of "Approaching Tokyo Tradition", Arts Council Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture) is holding five projects:" Traditional culture and performing arts experience program","Traditional Arts Program","Kagurazaka Street Stage O-edo Tour 2015 (Japanese Traditional Culture Festival)","Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony 2015" and "Traditional Performing Arts for Kids". The aims of these projects are to communicate the tradtional arts and culture of Japan both domestically and overseas, and to encourage young generation to inherit the Japanese tradition.
We hope that you will come and enjoy divert and inspiring programs,which are designed especially for foreigners, those who rarely engage with Japanese traditional culture, and children who lead the next generation of traditional performing arts.
