Enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves and Tokyo tradition!

Less than an hour’s train ride from the Tokyo city center, Mount Takao (Takao-san) is a well-loved spot for viewing autumn leaves. At the foot of this mountain, Shishimai (Lion Dance), in which the lions may “bite” people on the head to bring good luck, Kasa-Mawashi (umbrella spinning) and other Kyokugei (traditional Japanese acrobatics) will be staged when the autumn leaves are at their best.
